Warmth before decoration
Imagery and a warm palette set the atmosphere. Restrained surfaces leave room for the food and the information.
Design concept — Not a client commission
hospitality reimagined
A restaurant concept bringing together warm light, large typography and a direct route to a table enquiry.

01 / Context
This independent study imagines a restaurant whose website conveys atmosphere while answering practical questions quickly. The name, offer and design belong to a fictional scenario.
How can a restaurant website have its own voice and still feel clear? The menu, visitor information and table enquiry should be easy to reach.
02 / Decisions
Imagery and a warm palette set the atmosphere. Restrained surfaces leave room for the food and the information.
Large headings introduce the page. Everyday information stays smaller, calm and easy to read.
A table is approached as an enquiry. Details, feedback and availability would need to be agreed with the selected booking process in a real operation.
03 / Layout studies
The following views translate the approach into two formats. They are simplified static design studies and do not document an implemented website.
04 / Looking ahead
The study shows that atmosphere and orientation need to be developed together. A real project would also require approved content, an agreed operating model and tests of the booking journey.
